Fellow Android users, the season of Android modding is upon us. Cyanogen pushed out CM 12 nightlies for select number of devices earlier this month. The number of devices officially supported by Cyanogenmod has grown sufficiently. Earlier this week Note 4 received its first official CM 12 nigthly. You probably saw this one coming. Cyanogenmod has always offered vast variety of customizations you can choose from. From adding and rearranging your notification pull-down toggles to adding shortcuts on your lock screen, Cyanogenmod is full of neat customizations that makes you love using your Android even more. New features seem to be coming every now and then in a nightly. Some of my favorites include having the option to display weather in my notification drawer and adding new toggles.

    

5-Shortcuts

Cyanogenmod has always been smart. There are shortcuts spread throughout the whole rom which can save you a lot of time. For example, there's the option to quick unlock; automatic unlock on correct entry of pin, it's similar to what Windows 8 offers. There are lock screen shortcuts. If you don't find it useful to have camera or the phone the lock screen you can change them with any application you like. You also have a very neat way to control your brightness by sliding your finger across the status bar. It's very convenient to have it there. Similarly you can pull down your notification panel toggles with single swipe from right/left according to you preference.
