Atention! Spoilers for Arrow, "Uprising" follow
Big battle this week. Brickwell has taken over the Glades. Since the cops have backed down the only ones that can protect the residents of the Glades is the "Arrow Team", that's what they're calling themselfs. After discovering their location through walkie-talkie triangulation, the police precinct, they try to take him and his guys down, unsuccessfully, with Malcolm Merlyn showing up to save them, since they recently discovered that Brickwell is Rebecca Merlyn's (Malcolm's wife) killer.
They later begin a a riot, between the citizens of the Glades alongside Black Canary, Arsenal, Wildcat and the Arrow. Yup, Oliver's back, and still strong enough to fight against Brickwell's thugs.
Merlyn is able to take down Brickwell, but doesn't kill him, thinking of Thea.
Remember that I said Brickwell killed Rebecca Merlyn? Well, instead of flashbacks of Oliver in his adventures before returning to Starling City there were flashbacks of how Merlyn joined the League of Assassin's, which was cool to see.
Brickwell is Rebecca Merlyn's killer
There was not much more to see in this episode except small things, like how Captain Lance found out that the Black Canary he's seeing is not Sarah and that Felicity doesn't want to be with Oliver because he joined Merlyn to take down Ra's Al-Ghul.
It was an overall good episode but I think it lacked some content and Oliver's arrival was a bit out of nowhere but unsurprising.
The Verdict: 7/10
-Riot
-Oliver's back
-Merlyn's backstory
