Cedar Point VR is one of the best optimized apps for the Google Cardboard

When it comes to VR applications, optimization is one of the most important aspects of the experience. No matter how good the graphics look, if you see them overlapping and not stitched into one, all the fun's gone. I have a hard time trying to get Google's cardboard app to work without problems, many times it will work as it's intended to, other times I will see two pointers. At first I thought this might be an issue with my viewer but I checked online and found various complains about the same thing. A quick fix includes just looking around and eventually getting your brain to stitch the graphics in one.

Killer optimization

I came across this application called Cedar Point VR which is a roller coaster based VR experience. That's nothing new if you know about VR. There are countless other applications which do the same thing but what sets this apart from others is how well it's optimized. Just put it in your viewer and just enjoy. No waiting for brain trying to stitch or anything.

Amazing experience

Apart from the amazing optimization, the overall experience is quite good as well. Don't get me wrong this isn't the type of app that you would open up everyday to be fascinated by virtual reality but it's more like a one time experience. It's great to see someone's reactions when they are experiencing this.

Overall this app is quite fun and after all it's free so no harm in trying it out.
