Smart Cars? Smart enough to be called Death Proof Cars are Coming by 2020!

The technology had begun to evolve rapidly in the end of 20th century. With the advent of 21st century, the life of Human being on Earth started to become more and more smarter. Phones that were used for decades long became Smart Phones. Watches that were used for centuries long started to become Smart Watches. Television that were too used for so long became Smart TV.

This convention of making things Smarter has got its peak in the current second Decade of 21st Century. Yes, nowadays we are living with all Smart Things around.
The smartness of things has lead us to Smart Cars, too.

Volvo, a Swedish car manufacturing company, has promised to introduce "DEATH-PROOF" cars by 2020. 

According to Road Crash Statistics, Nearly 1.3 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,287 deaths a day. This is a huge challenge for the survival of mankind. We had to bring technology in use to tackle this challenge of Car Crashes.

Actually Death Proof cars will be capable with the smart technology that will react to any accident before it happens.

Yes "Before it happens". 

These cars will be highly sensitive to things that causes car crashes. These Death Proof cars will mainly consist of the following features:

Sensitive and Adaptive Drive Control

This system is already introduced in many cars even today. Adaptive Drive Control will let your car drive itself by taking accurate measurement of nearby cars, stops, signals and speed signs. The car will be able to drive with an accurate approximation of cars ahead. It will automatically slow down if a car comes close ahead. This property will eventually lessen (or even distinguish) the chances of crash.

Auto Lane Keeping Control

Many of the car accidents that take place are due to Instant lane changing. When a car instantly gets off of the lane, it is much vulnerable to be crushed by the precedent car or it can crash the car ahead. Death proof cars will be equipped with highly sensitive mechanism to control the sudden lane changing act. This can be done by Smart cameras which detect the lane edges or road edges.

Collision Avoidance Control

The major reason of car crashes are collisions. Death proof cars will be equipped with the smart technology to warn the driver about the obstacles ahead. If the driver doesn't respond quickly, it will apply brakes automatically.

Pedestrian Detection

Many car accidents causes death to the person inside the car. But in most cases, it also kills other people on the pedestrians. Death proof cars will be highly equipped with the sensitive technology to sense the pedestrians on the road. It will stop the car when it detects a Pedestrian to save the Person inside and out.

Animal Detection Technology

In many cases, car crashes happens when suddenly a large animal appears on the road. Death proof cars will be able to detect the Animal ahead and it will warn the driver as well stops the car if no response is shown by the driver.

So, in this way we would be able to avoid Car Crashes in order to save costly lives on Earth.
